Can it be used with slower-speed RAM?
Yes, but the system will run at the speed of the slowest RAM module in the set. If paired with 3000MHz RAM, it will operate at 3000MHz and cannot achieve full 3200MHz performance

Not necessary. This RAM supports basic XMP and works out of the box without BIOS settings, unless you want to enable maximum performance mode
