The TP-Link MC210CS media converter is designed to efficiently convert signals between Copper (RJ45) and Single-mode fiber optic networks. It supports IEEE 802.3ab 1000BASE-T and IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-LX standards, enabling bidirectional data transmission at up to 1 Gbps. This converter can be used standalone or installed directly into the MC1400 rack. It supports UTP Cat 5e cables up to 100 meters and transmits signals over Single-mode fiber optic up to 20 kilometers using a wavelength of 1310nm, making it ideal for inter-building connections or wide-area networks requiring high stability and long-distance performance
