TP-Link Deco S7 is a Mesh Wi-Fi system that extends wireless coverage throughout your home seamlessly using Mesh technology that supports both wireless backhaul and LAN cable connections. The system supports Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) with a maximum combined speed of 1900 Mbps—600 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1300 Mbps at 5 GHz—featuring 3 internal antennas per unit to enhance coverage and reduce dead zones. not supported Wi-Fi 6. Deco S7 uses Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) technology with a maximum speed of 1900 Mbps and supports only Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 4.
How many devices can Deco S7 connect to Wi-Fi at the same time?
Supports connecting hundreds of devices. The system features MU-MIMO and Band Steering to balance workloads, enabling multiple devices to operate simultaneously without interruptions
Do I need to use a LAN cable to connect Deco S7?
Not necessary. Setup can be done via Wi-Fi immediately, but for greater stability and speed, we recommend using a LAN cable between the main and extended units
