The TP-Link Deco X50-Outdoor is the first Wi-Fi 6 Mesh router designed for both indoor and outdoor use, supporting Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, delivering up to 3,000 Mbps combined speed (2,402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz), enabling smooth multi-device connectivity through OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies that enhance data transmission efficiency. It supports immediate setup as either a router or access point. The router features 3 Ethernet ports (Gigabit) and supports PoE or AC power supply (100-240V), allowing flexible installation in various locations such as walls, rooftops, or lampposts. With IP65 water and dust resistant rating, it operates reliably in harsh weather conditions and includes HomeShield security for online threat protection, detection of insecure IoT devices, and detailed internet usage control for children.
