คีย์บอร์ด G512 X 98 รองรับการปรับมุมพื้นผิวได้ 2 ระดับ คือ 4° และ 8° โดยมาพร้อมขาตั้งสองชิ้นในกล่อง หากไม่ใส่ขาตั้งจะอยู่ที่มุม 4° สามารถเพิ่มขาตั้งเพื่อปรับเป็น 8° ได้ทันที

คีย์บอร์ดนี้รองรับ report rate สูงสุดถึง 8,000 Hz (8K) ซึ่งให้เวลาตอบสนองเพียง 0.125ms เท่านั้น ทำให้ไม่มีหน่วงเวลาในการกดปุ่ม แม้ในเกมที่ต้องการความเร็วสูง
