Tapo C212 is a smart CCTV camera designed for home security, featuring 2K (2304 x 1296 pixels) resolution that delivers clear images even in low light, using a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and an F2.4 lens with a 3.83 mm focal length, offering a wide 107.52° diagonal viewing angle. It supports 340° horizontal rotation (covering 360°) and 70° vertical rotation (covering 116.65°), enabling broad area monitoring without installing multiple units. The camera supports night vision with 850 nm IR LEDs, providing visibility up to 30 feet (9 meters), along with WDR and 3D DNR technologies to enhance image clarity in low-light conditions. It enables two-way communication via built-in microphone and speaker, plus a 90dB siren audible at 10 cm. The camera supports storage on MicroSD cards up to 512 GB and Tapo Care cloud service (subscription required), and supports Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and Ethernet 100 Mbps connectivity for more stable performance.

Does not support Wi-Fi 5 or 5 GHz. The camera only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n). For stable performance, we recommend using a 2.4 GHz network.
Can this camera be mounted on the ceiling?
