The Cisco Catalyst 9115AX Series is an enterprise-grade wireless access point designed for high-density environments such as offices, schools, or hospitals. It supports the Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, delivering higher speed, reduced latency, and improved concurrent device performance. With OFDMA technology that divides bandwidth into smaller Resource Units and MU-MIMO supporting 4 spatial streams, data transmission efficiency is maximized in the same direction. Additionally, it features Target Wake Time (TWT), which can extend battery life of battery-powered devices by up to 3-4 times compared to Wi-Fi 4 and 5. It also supports embedded wireless controller functionality built into the device, eliminating the need for external controllers.
